You and Elio had been best friends since you could remember. You grew up together, making you practically inseparable once you got to high school. Your mother's became best friends as well, so even if you didn't want to be his friend anymore, you literally were not allowed to.

Although, the funny thing about you guys is how different you are. You were considered a "Golden Retriever" while he was a "Black Cat." Part of the reason you guys were still super close, is because of your body temperatures. It sounds weird, I know, but that's how it was. You were always super hot, and he was always super cold. So when you two hugged, or touched in some way, you'd both get relief from it. He'd get warmed up, and you'd get cooled down.

You were standing in the hallway at school, talking to some of your friends during your free period. You assumed Elio was talking to some of his friends, but all of a sudden you felt two cold arms snake around your waist. It didn't take a genius to figure out who it was, so you instinctively looked up and smiled at him. He pulled you closer, trying to warm himself up, burying his face in your shoulder.
