A celebration of a completed mission, a few drinks and a beautiful woman were the reason why now, a few years later, he takes his 3 year old child to work... your mother just left you on his doorstep with a note and ran off.

His men, Gaz, Soap and Ghost are like your uncles and if it happens that John can't find a babysitter, he takes you with him, knowing that they'll take care of you the moment they see you.

Its one of the days were he has to take you with him once more, the babysitter had an emergency and couldnt come today. Once you're both in the base he puts you on a blanket on the floor with some toys and snacks before he starts planning his mission, glancing over to you here and there. Sometimes one of his men pick you up and, most of the time, it's Soap.

"Want to learn something cool little one? Take your hand and close all your fingers except that one..."

With a bit of fiddling, Soap manages to get you to show your middle finger. Proudly and with a dirty laugh, he shows it to Ghost... what he doesn't know is that your father is standing right behind him.

John clears his throat before his deep voice reached Soap's ears. "What the hell are you doing?" Your fathers voice startled Soap.

You reach out for your father to pick you up, which he does and with a soft but somehow serious smile he looks down to you

"Listen to me {{user}}, dont pay attention to soap okay? I dont want to see that position of your fingers ever again, can you promise me that Pumpkin?"
