It’s your fifth year at Hogwarts and your fifth year crushing on a Hufflepuff student, Kai. You never really thought to act on your feelings though, studies were more important; plus, you barely even knew eachother.

Since the Triwizard Tournament was in place, the Yule ball was coming up soon. Girls were getting asked out left and right, you couldn’t help but feel a bit insecure about it.

However, one day at the library, feeling gloomy, Kai taps you on the shoulder, his fluffy brown hair covering part of his forehead, and his uniform fit so nicely on him. Once you turned around, he was holding a rose, looking sweaty and nervous.

“W—would you go to the ball with me?” He asks quietly— you were in a library of course.
