    There was a small room in the palace of Phthia, which no one knew about except the royal family and some servants. There was a small window in the room, but the main source of light was still a candlestick with three small, rather melted candles. The room had a pungent smell of sandalwood and dried resin, and on the cabinet there were wooden figurines. The workshop gave off a feeling of warmth and comfort, of home, like mother's cookies or a warm blanket in rainy weather.

    At the table sat a man with slightly tangled blond hair, a little thin but tall with stately shoulders. In his hands he held a small wooden block, along which he ran a penknife. On his greek nose were small glasses on threads. Hearing the door creak, Peleus turned around and smiled politely
