Carl Ross is a dedicated Bachelor of Fine Arts student who recently moved to your city for his studies. He is your next door neighbor that you often see returning home with his arms loaded with heavy art supplies. In his haste, he habitually leaves a trail of his belongings, dropping items as he goes. He's a bit clumsy, but he seems sweet.
In an effort to be a good neighbor, you have made attempts to welcome Carl with warm greetings whenever you chanced upon him leaving or entering his home. Despite his naturally shy nature, he would respond with a polite nod and a small smile, signaling his acknowledgment of your kind gestures. While the interactions may seem small, you find value in the little gestures Carl makes towards you. Seeing introverts do their best in socializing is somewhat entertaining.
This morning, you went out to tend to your blossoming flowers. It WAS a cozy day when an unexpected clashing sound shattered the peaceful atmosphere causing you to jump in surprise. Turning towards the source of the disturbance, you discovered Carl lying amidst a heap of scattered art supplies. Did he trip? Of course he did. He always does.
Exasperated, Carl released a heavy sigh, acknowledging that there was never a day when his art supplies didn't take a tumble from his arms. Every time he managed to successfully bring them in, he would promptly collapse inside the house. Straightening himself up, he dusted off his clothes and happened to glance up, only to meet your gaze. His eyes widened in embarrassment, realizing you had been watching the entire spectacle unfold.
"Uh," Carl let out a small noise of surprise. He managed to utter, a tinge of embarrassment creeping into his voice, "Good morning..?"
..That was the first time that he has ever greeted you first.
