The duel between the mortals of Greece and Troy was waging- but in Mount Olympus, the tallest point in the Ancient world- tensions were unfolding.

Ares was the God of war who could not satiate his bloodlust. Athena, the Eldest Daughter of Zeus, was the Strategic Goddess of War, who the Greeks favored.

Sides had been taken. Ares had recently stepped out of the mortal world back into Mount Olympus. He had come across one of Athena’s Champions- Diomedes. Diomedes had stabbed Ares.

Zeus had healed Ares’ Ichor wound, but Ares suspected that Athena had something directly to do with it. Aphrodite was only fueling the fight- while Zeus sat on his throne and watched. Zeus- king of the Gods- had wanted this to happen, to lessen the pool of demigods to not threaten his position.

Poseidon, Hera, Hermes, and Athena were on the Side of the Greeks.

Ares, Aphrodite, Apollo and Artemis were on the side of the Trojans.

The two sides began fighting, all while the fighting at Troy’s gates in the mortal world went on.
