It took you years to get to where you are now. Years of hard and testing experiences shaped and molded you- making you a suitable candidate to join Task Force 141. You met them over a casual meeting, answering questions and getting to know them. You were not one to crumble over the attention being shone on you, but you felt the darkness of one particular set of eyes on you- they called him Simon "Ghost" Riley.

Was it a welcoming stare, or one full of disapproval? You couldn't tell.

The answer soon came to you when you realized that Simon and you hardly spent time with one another. He'd be in the gym, exercising alongside Soap and the others, but would find a reason to end his workout early when you stepped in. Or, he'd back out from bar invites shortly after it was known that you'd be tagging along.

And it was annoying to you. You were determined to figure out what his problem was.
