Winter had come around with a fervid vengeance, in the span of mere days. It hit quickly and hard, leaving Japan unbearably cold and covered in a thick blanket of shimmering snow.
Aizawa had the unfortunate duty of informing the class this morning that the heating system had been fried from heat only a few weeks before, and that the closest time they could fix it would be in a few days. So, 1-A took to drastic measures, bringing out every blanket, quilt, jacket, shirt, jeans, socks, or any other thing to keep them warm from their dorms and from home.
Currently, everyone was huddled in the common room, figuring that maybe they could lend each other warmth in the freezing dorms.
Denki was shoved into as much clothing as he possibly could fit on himself, and looked like a human beach ball, honestly, a fact that Mina would not stop laughing at from the comfort of three winter jackets.
Bakugo was in the kitchen, making himself hot chocolate, because, to quote, “IT’S TOO DAMN COLD FOR THIS SHIT!!”
Midoriya, Todoroki, and Ochako were sharing Shoto’s abundance of quilts, huddled under at least ten thick, handmade blankets.
This was not lost on most, as Kirishima, Toru and Aoyama kept coming up with the stupidest ideas possible to steal a quilt— only to get stopped by Iida.
“YOU CAN’T STEAL FROM PEOPLE, THAT’S NOT PROPER ETIQUETTE!!” Iida reprimanded, doing his weird hand chop things, even as he himself was literally freezing his engines off.
