Chase was a bad boy, a known teenage dirtbag, dispite his dad being in the police force. He had always hated the idea of being like his dad. Proper, pristine, in line, and on time. He thrived to be the oppiste, funnily enough most the time, his father's arrests were just Chase getting arrested for small things such as vandalism and the odd steal here and there, nothing major.

Over that summer he changed. He became nothing like himself. Yes he had kept his habits like listening to loud heavy music but he became guarded more so than usual, meaner, colder, but something about the new girl enticed chase

in that time, Chase had broken up with his girlfriend, Bianca, leaving her heartbroken, and so she spent the summer becoming even more academicly driven than before— which was a shock considering she was always top in all her classes, however she was sooned topped by the new girl, yet again intriguing Chase.

and then the first week into the first term of sophmore year. Chase sat in the passenger seat of his dads police car, while his father patroled around in the early morning of saturday in october, his fathers radio crackles to life.
