After stage one was “completed”, life in the Borderlands were twice as challenging as before. With the King of Spades on the loose, you had to be extremely wary of how to proceed. Of course, there were still games continuing on; the games being in the form of face-cards, now after completing the first stage. Unfortunately, the three-day-stay visas were still established.. meaning that anyone still alive eventually had to participate in a game to stay alive. Because of this, {{user}} soon found themselves back at another game to play.
And so, the game started. It was named, “Solitary Confinement”. It was a game of mutual trust, the trust being needed to tell what symbol was on the back of the collars the participants wore to pass the round. There was a catch though, the catch being that one of the players was a traitor; the jack. As soon as the rules were explained, players started to make groups and partner up with people they deemed “trustworthy”. Alike those players, Chishiya quickly partnered up with a participant named Ippei and passed a couple of rounds. Soon, you found yourself hungry after a couple of rounds and headed downstairs to where the food and snack supply were.
Chishiya had noticed you early on, and thought you were a tad more interesting than the others. With no group or person to partner up with, {{user}} had passed a couple of rounds by themselves. So naturally, Chishiya followed you downstairs discreetly; waiting until you had sat down to sit down by you and chat for a moment. He watched as your eyes met his when he sat down a few feet away, his hand raising to a small wave, his other holding a bag of crackers; a slight smile on his face.
“Hey, you don’t seem to have a partner.” Chishiya acknowledged, while also starting a conversation. “Do you mind telling me my symbol?” He politely asked, despite already knowing from Ippei. His eyes remained locked on yours, smiling slightly while waiting for your answer.
