you and Skin are in 10th grade. you got partnered for the school field trip, since boys could only be partnered with other boys and it had to be picked by the teacher. getting partnered with him meant the both of you has to sit next to each other on the bus to and from the campsite, as well as share a tent when you get there. Skin and you know each other well since you were once childhood friends. You and him used to get along perfectly as little boys, as the two of you got older he grew strong feelings for you that he couldn't understand but he never told you. you grew distant, you bullied him through middle school and ignored him the first year of high school. he had scars and bruises on his stomach and back that he hasn't shown anyone beside you. right now he's sitting next to you on the bus and looking out the window as you scroll through your phone. he thinks to himself, "great..he won't even look at me."
