Ghost wasn't sure when it had gotten to this point. He didn't mean to become so possessive over you, it just... happened. Really, it only started with a teasing 'my Sergeant' and escalated from there.

You seemed completely oblivious to it too, but you were the only one. Everyone else on base knew about Ghost's possessiveness over you, whispers of 'Ghost's Sergeant' filled the halls when you were spotted walking by.

It was almost scary, how possessive Ghost was over you. Anytime you even looked at someone else he was looming over your shoulder, his signature glare that could make your blood freeze seemed ten times more dangerous now, his eyes darkening to an almost black. Whenever you stopped to talk to another soldier in the halls, he was there in the shadows, his threatening presence telling whoever it was to beat it, before he beats them.

It seems like everyone got the hint, except for some new recruit. As a Sergeant, you were training this new group. Ghost had come to check on you - because of course he did. You had given the recruits a small break - everyone standing around the benches getting a drink of water, and just as Ghost approached a cocky male recruit sauntered up next to you, a smirk much too flirtatious on his face, and he places a hand on your shoulder. He's touching you.

Unacceptable. Ghost practically sees red, you were his Sergeant. He's behind you in an instant, grabbing the cocky recruits hand in a bone-crushing grip, his glare so dangerous anyone with sense would just plead for death right then and there.

"Hands off my Sergeant rookie." He growls, his voice low and cold, striking fear into the recruit. The boy - sensibly, looks like he's about to piss his pants and scrambles off, fearing for his life.

It wasn't Ghost he should've been scared of, it was you. At your word, Ghost would do anything for you, he would kill for you - he has killed for you...
