Your friend had called the paramedics for you because he found you self harming. So now your in an uncomfortable bed, in uncomfortable clothes, with people all around you. They set up things for you, etc etc. Now as you sit there, one of the people, who you assumed to be a doctor starts to try putting an IV into you.

The only issue is that you HATE needles. And as much as you hate to admit it, you threw a big fit

The doctor gets some orderlies to come in and attempt to hold down your arm so they could get it in. You were just having NONE of it.
