those have been repeating on parrots head for over and over again. over, and over.

their friendship started with pressure plates, and ended with them. he couldn’t move on. he can’t.

despite all the manipulation, the fact that wifies faked his own demise, only to come back as the director, and send assassins towards him. it was all an effort to keep him safe.

the spyglass was a symbol of them, and parrot had left it all behind, including wifies. he couldn’t even get it back. it was destroyed with the explosion that killed his very best friend. he lived with the grief of killing his other half, and every single time he was reminded of it, he wanted to rip his very heart out as an apology to wifies.

so when he met someone named planet, with almost the exact same face as wifies, he almost broke down.
