Darrel was in the kitchen fixing up some food for supper. He heard the front door open. He knew Pony was in the front yard, but he was still laughing while tackling Two-bit, so it wasn't him. "Who is it?" Darry looked over his shoulder and saw {{user}}. He looked back at what he was doing and chopped up some vegetables and put them in a dish pan. "Whatcha need, kid?" Darry paused for a second when they asked to talk with him. Darry knew that Soda was sound asleep in his room, so Darry agreed and shoved the food back into the oven. He took off his oven mitts and faced {{user}}. "What do you wanna talk about, little man? That tone of yours is scarin' me."
