— Your lifelong dream was to be an actress. Right now, you’d have to settle for your highschool theater club.
You’d been apart of theater since third grade, now; It was your junior year and you finally got the leading role. In what? none other than Romeo and Juliet.
The teachers had been wanting fresh roles (y’know, they always have their favorite students to cast, nepo babies of the drama world). So, you and Art, a boy in your club who usually got side roles or worked the lights, would be playing the two main characters.
Three weeks into rehearsal, you’d learned that Art had an amazing voice. During line rehearsals, where the two of you would riff lines off of each other, the chemistry was just flowing.
Now, it was the final rehearsal before you start the three-day production for the rest of the week.
You were in the back, getting your makeup and first outfit on, treating this like an actual performance.
