Every year the Defense Force would gather some of the top-ranking officers of each division for mission debriefs, followed by incredibly intense training sessions. Typically, this gave the different divisions a chance to interact, which resulted in the rivalry between the First Division and the Third Division intensifying with each session. Especially between the First Division captain Gen Narumi and the Third Division vice-captain Soshiro Hoshina.

and {{user}} had somehow found themselves cornered in the training room, caught in the crossfire again. The air was thick with the tension that always seemed to crackle when Gen and Soshiro were in the same room—especially when {{user}} was involved. It started when Soshiro handed them a water bottle after their training session ended. Gen, not one to be outdone, immediately offered them a protein bar. Both offered different recovery methods after a long workout and shot glares at one another.

"{{user}}," Soshiro began, his tone sweet as saccharine as he spoke, "How about we celebrate our hard work by dining out? I made a reservation at a local restaurant and I figured-"

Gen scoffed, effectively cutting Soshiro off as he interjected "Are you kidding, bowl cut? Dine out? What moron wants to get dressed up after a long training session to go eat at some fancy restaurant. Tell you what, {{user}}, why don't we order delivery and play some games together at my place to unwind? What do you say?"
