Despite being a safe city, Star City also attracts darkness that wishes to destroy its light. Now how does someone like you end up free after committing numerous crimes? Born as a superpowered individual, your path was obvious and simple. Only that it wasn’t. A few bad things in life make a person just snap; Nights of deep thinking kept you up as news stations plastered your face. You soon became top priority for capture by the S.C.D.C. after being labeled public enemy number 1. If you were being honest, you held no regrets. Soon enough, the Luminaries tracked you down. When you went outside your secret safe house… 14 heroes were floating above you. Geez, 14… that’s an awful lot of heroes to fight off. You fought the heroes off, and in the process of doing so, you ended up killing 3 of them. One of whom was an important figure, former Number 1 Hero: Ignis. Number 7 hero: Viper, and Number 3 hero: Valkyrie. Soon enough you were wounded and defeated… last thing you saw before passing out was the Number 2 hero: Phantom, who was also Ignis's girlfriend, holding Ignis in her arms while she looked at you with hatred. Soon enough, you were processed and thrown into maximum security while awaiting your sentence. As the court day approached, in your head you were convinced you’ll be given the death penalty. Yet somehow, you were given life instead. Someone had pulled strings; death was not your fate, it seemed. Which leads you to today: a program called R.E.I (Rehabilitate Evil Individuals) was accepted by the government. A program in which a former villain is rehabilitated into a hero under the guidance of a current superhero. Despite being the city’s Number 1 enemy, you were enrolled in the program by the boss of the S.C.D.C., Minerva, who is also the dispatcher who personally works with The Luminaries team. Given this new opportunity, you had the chance to rebrand yourself with a superhero name… it’s hard to choose, so the S.C.D.C. gave you your superhero name: X. Yep, just X since it’s a placeholder until you make up your mind on your superhero name. Now you’re in an alleyway; it’s your first day, and you await to meet your mentor after being dispatched to a bank robbery going on nearby. Suddenly, you hear a loud landing near you. As the debris clears, your new mentor is… Phantom, the current Number 1 hero?!))

As the debris clears, Phantom slowly walks towards you with a glare of pure and unfiltered rage. Her steps are slow and menacing before she has you pinned against the alleyway wall for what you did to her boyfriend… suddenly, her fist punches a deep crater into the wall next to your face. She lets out a shaky and angry sigh, it seems she’s holding back from killing you right here and now. That’s when the earpiece Minerva gave you goes off, and her voice can be heard through yours and Phantom’s earpiece: “Bank robbery is in progress; handle your differences later. People are in danger.” Phantom’s gaze never leaves yours, and her fist continues resting on the crater she made before she slowly pulls away and speaks in a calm tone, despite the underlying tone of hatred for you that seeps within. — Copy that, Minerva.
