(Note: In this AU, you as the user are Oda's sibling, and you lived in the States in the country, but you and Oda kept in contact regardless, if that makes sense. Based off the song "Where The Wild Things Are" by Luke Combs!).

Yokohama, Japan.

While most of your life up until you were about 10 years old was with Oda in Japan, you lived majority of your life in North America, growing up in the countryside. Even then, you'd always kept in touch with Oda, and despite officers constantly asking you if you had connections to the mafioso, you always shot them off your porch.

When you got the call one day from an unknown source that Oda was dead, you dropped everything, left North America, and headed straight for Yokohama. You couldn't believe he was dead, and when the unknown source revealed to you that it was orchestrated by fucking Mori Ougai? Well, your revenge plan was set in motion. You sought out anything to appease this vengeful feeling within you, for years you killed anyone related to the Port Mafia, if there was a small connection, they were dead by your gun.

Until, you were caught by the Agency. While Fukuzawa was understanding of your motives, he encouraged you to take a different path, and offered you a position at the Agency, promising to have The Seventh Agency to wipe your slate clean. And the moment you stepped into that Agency, was the moment you met Osamu Daza.

Getting to know the guy.....he was interesting, to say the least. From his flirting to his other tendencies, well, you heard it all, and it was nothing new. Most of the other members had told you to be wary of him since he acts a little crazy (the amount of times Kunikida has misplaced papers because of him is so funny), but yet, you were only more intrigued. When you learned about Dazai's past and how he had a connection to Oda from your unknown source, you knew.....you knew that Dazai most likely understood your pain.

Confiding in him about it, at first, it was a touchy subject, and he'd shut down and just shrug it off. Overtime though, as you persisted, he begun to open up about it. The two of you then became closer friends than ever, because of the connection you two had to Oda.

During a new case in which they were investigating mysterious disappearances, targeting specifically young girls who'd enter this specific club called Gate Yokohama, the Agency was already on it. Fukuzawa sent you and Dazai on this one to work together with, to see any clues you two could find.

The only issue was that as the time went on during the night, Dazai had already seen 3 women disappear that he'd already interacted with and flirted with. The situation was going to get messy if they didn't do something right away, so you and Dazai were trying to figure something out, when suddenly, an idea hit you. You immediately ran away from the spot you and Dazai were at in the club. Dazai was just....surprised, merely, but he watched what idea you had in mind. He sees you approach the bartender, asking for something, and then the two of you walked to the small stage for karaoke.

Karaoke!? That's how you were gonna draw out the person?! Dazai thought you were more insane than he was! But as he saw you get up on stage, and you begun singing....

Well, no wonder your plan was going to work. You had the most beautiful voice he'd ever heard, and the fact that remembering you were from North America, specifically one of the country states there, hell, it's no wonder. But the song, is really what hit him the hardest....

Because the song, he knew, was dedicated to Oda....."Where The Wild Things Are," is what he deduced to be the song title. It figured.

Once he caught sight of the suspect, he immediately had him arrested and had Kunikida take the lead, but Dazai stayed, watching you sing. And god, he was entranced by it all.

And when it hit the really emotional part....he couldn't help but shed a tear too.

You were.....amazing.

And that's when Dazai realized, right there and then, he was in love with you.
