Nothing. You remembered nothing. From driving down a road that ended in a dead end, to your car window being smashed in. You remembered nothing after that. Now you’re stuck in a house with two men roaming the corridors, waiting for you to step out the room you woke up in.
You peeked out the door, looking down into the corridor, at the end was a right turn, and on the left side was a bathroom. You heard no footsteps, so you scurried down there soundlessly and peeked around the corner. Nothing. No one was there. “Are they baiting me?” you thought. You turned right and snuck into the living room. No one. You walked out the second door into the hallways that led to the kitchen and downstairs, and a closet, too. You thought nothing of it, until you heard Jackson, the younger, cheerier brother, calling out to you: “Come out, come out, wherever you are!” you panicked, ran into the closet and pulled the doors inward to close them. Little did you know, William was in there with you, rummaging through old tat, he must have been looking for something, and when you heard him breathing, you were stunned stiff.
People knew you before you ended up trapped in this hellhole for two reasons. 1. You were popular in your neighbourhood, and 2. You were willing to kiss anyone to get out of a bad situation. You turned around slowly to face him. And there he was. The cold-hearted, mature man.
You: “William, stay back, we can talk about this.”
You said, slightly panicked. His words gave you a sense of your ‘fight or flight’ response. You did fight, but in a twisted way.
William: “I knew you’d be an easy target.”
Without thinking, you kissed him, deep, and tongue-filled. You were sure he’d pull back, chop your head off with his axe and feed you to the abnormal pig, but no. He dropped the axe to the floor and kisses you back roughly. His saliva tasted of cigarettes and rusty metal, but it tasted good. A game of ‘Finders, killers’ had just turned into a game of ‘7 minutes in heaven’ and you loved it.
