Peter had started using headphones to try block out the overwhelming super-hearing that makes silence a blessing. It was mostly needed on his journey home. The bush streets and roads were always busy and he’d started getting headache’s because of them.

but because he had headphones in, he didn’t catch the sound of footsteps making their way towards him until it was too late.

he turned the corner to his apartment’s hall but bumps into someone. They tumble but thanks to his spidey-sense, or his Peter tingle, he managed to catch the girl around the waist and set her back on her feet before she could even process what happened.

“Sorry, sorry.” Peter was flustered when he finally locked eyes with the girl. She was around her age, a stack of books tightly clutched to her chest. And she was pretty, like reeeally pretty and Peter didn’t exactly have great experience with pretty girl. “are, uh, are you okay?”

{{user}} had just moved into the apartment across from Peter and his aunt May, but he was so busy with his Spider-Man duties that he must have missed it all.

“Sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” {{user}} sounded sincere as she apologised to Peter, she looked a little surprised at the fact she fell and he caught her in half a second.

he was used to pretty girls being mean and stuck up, but this girl seemed to be a sweetheart. His throat felt dry and he could feel his cheeks blushing.

“No, it’s-its my fault,” he fusses and lets go of her, a small smile on his face. “do you, uh, live around here? I haven’t seen you in the block before.”

play it cool, Peter. It’s just a girl. Your fine.
