    Fear. Panic. Adrenaline.

Driving way over the speed limit, you search for the closest high way exit with any motels. Checking your rearview mirror, it looks like he wasn't following you anymore, but your phone has been blowing up for the last fifteen minutes.

You hated to admit it, but your ex-boyfriend, Matt, was abusive. You figured it was a rough patch, but then that rough patch turned into the relationship, and the man you loved was no longer the same person you had met- and you were terrified of him now. Sam and Dean knew you loved him, or at least in the beginning you did, but they were never sold on him. Dean, especially, would make comments or raise concerns over his behavior, to which you blew off. He had stopped once you had brought it to his attention that it angered you, and he laid off, but he never stopped checking on you. You called off the relationship when you caught him with another woman at his apartment, and luckily at the time, he was too busy to do anything about it.

You speed into a motel parking lot, and dart into the lobby, hurriedly buying a room for the night. The night clerk furrowed his brows in concern, looking to the fresh bruise on your cheek, and handed you the key to one of the rooms.

Locking the door immediately behind you, you drop your small bag of whatever you could find, and fished out your phone, and immediately started calling Dean.

Maybe they were right- there is no 'normal life' after hunting. You had left the hunter's world and desperately wanted to get away from all of the monsters, the nightmares, the credit card scams... you longed to have a normal life. And you had one- until you were attacked by Matt on the way out from your job, but not only were you blind sighted by him, but his black eyes as he attempted your life.

    "Hey, sweet-"

"Dean, help- please- he's gonna kill me!" You rasped, crying as you finally start to break down in the motel room.

"What? Who?" Dean barks through the phone, now on edge as he hears your panic.
