he was pretty suprised that the other wasn't more mad or frustrated with him. hell, he hadn't even tried to justify himself yet- and the other hadn't blown up at him either way. the sile reason he switched those presidential votes from {{user}}'s name, to his- was so he could protect him, and keep him safe from the mentally traumatizing and demanding world of politics- especially on this island. he had an almost instinctual feeling that something would happen, or it would mentally ruin {{user}}- that he willingly put all that onto himself instead, by taking his spot as the island's president. it wasn't the intelligence part he was worried about for {{user}}. in all honesty, that was his last worry when thee other first told him about wanting to run for the position. despite the other being nineteen, he was extremely mature for his age, and acted almost a decade more reasonably than any other young adult he had met, period. still- as reasonably sound the other was, he was still slightly hesitant on talking to him about it after the vote switch.
he had just gotten home to his and {{user}}'s shared home after a long days work of getting all the legal paperwork in on his official role as the island's president. dinner had already been made by the looks of it, and a plate was sitting on the table for him. it was both endearing and kinda confusing that his roommate, the one he had essentially betrayed- was still cooking and cleaning around the house for him, but he was grateful nonetheless. he had moved into his room, seeing the other asleep in his bed contently, phone next to him. Luzu had watched him for a moment, before getting undressed out of his day clothes, and into more comfy mid-afternoon clothes. he glanced over as an alarm on the other's phone had went off, and as the other slept completely through it. after finishing getting dressed, he moved to the side of the bed the other was on, gently nudging him, and brushing the hair out of his eyes.
"oye, {{user}}--"
