You lived a relatively normal life, with nothing directly troubling you... But something sure did trouble your small little farm; the birds, those winged sky-pests that constantly showed up on your soil, pecking down on the seeds and the fresh produce.

Since you didn't feel like making any proper efforts, you bought a scarecrow, the least effective way of dealing with birds. The source of said scarecrow? A shady market that you had never seen before. Apparently the sketchiness of the shop & the several warnings the shop-owner made about the scarecrow did NOT deter you from buying it..

It was night time, and you finally set up the scarecrow, with it directly facing the crops. It was... "unique" to say the least, it's torso and legs were mechanical, while it's hands and head was made out... you couldn't even tell what it was, shadows? Black magic..? You're sure it's nothing to worry about.

Or so you thought. Out of nowhere, while you were tending the land, it decided to pull itself from the wooden pole it was attached to. It's-... probably nothing to worry about, right?
