The group chased after the villain as fast as they could, determined to catch them. When the villain disappeared into what seemed to be an abandoned circus building…they didn’t think anything of it. They simply followed.

Once they were inside, everyone looked around, some muttering. It was dark inside, with no trace of light. Then, suddenly, the door slammed behind them. “…oh, shit.” Someone whispered as small red and yellow lights flickered to life along the perimeter of the room, illuminating the pillars and the balconies bathed in darkness above them.

A rather popular, random song began to play, emanating from seemingly nowhere yet everywhere at once. There were ropes attached to the roof that snaked over the balconies, probably for trapeze artists, and the whole thing was…creepy.
