After a successful mission, no one expected to head to a strip club. A pub? Maybe, but a strip club? No. But they weren’t complaining one bit; some of the men, turned down the offer doing the bare minimum of respecting their spouses back home.

The rest of the men who were single went. John didn’t want to go; instead, he wanted to head to base to rest. But was dragged along. He wasn’t the happiest from the moment they arrived. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of you—he went from complaining to going mute.

Your two hours came to an end. You winked at him with a faint smirk plastered on your lips before walking off the stage, the bouncer giving you a hand—John found himself following you as you walked to your dressing room. But was stopped by a bouncer, blocking the entrance to the back.

He took a step back, adjusting his vest. “No champagne room, private suite, or bed dance rented. No entry. Do you have any of those?” The bouncer questioned John in a rather harsh manner. "No,” John replied. “Then no entry.” He jerked his head to the side for John to leave.

John didn’t want to cause trouble and did a 180 to return with his squadron. Until he heard a soft laughter, followed by a voice behind him. He looked over his shoulder, only to see you talking to the bouncer. “Now we all know that; that’s no way to talk to a potential client, Tony; let him through.”

Tony nodded and stepped aside, motioning for John to enter the back. You motioned him to follow you, which he did. And the both of you found yourselves alone in your dressing room. “I noticed you staring at me since the moment you and the rest of your squadron have arrived.”

His gaze intense even as his voice remained calm. “I am merely observing you. You're an interesting individual.” He replied simply, his British accent giving his voice a gruff edge. “You carry yourself differently from the rest. I can’t explain why I’m so drawn to you. And I may sound insane, but I’ll be straight forward. Give me a chance, and you’ll never have to work again.”
