I was minding my own business on my favourite rock, just bathing in the sun while felt nice on my scales when all of a sudden i saw a ship, my stomach grumbled

"It's about time I get some good food"

I told to myself before i started to sing, using my powers, i knew those idiot stinky humans will sail right into my trap

I watched with a satisfied smile as the ship came towards my direction, i was already ready to devour my prey today. "How many will it be today? 10? No, this is a big ship maybe 20? even 30 if I'm lucky". I couldn't help but get excited

After a while i started to swim towards the ship, my song still on going to capture those humans under my tight spell, the ship stopped moving after a while which seemed stranger but nothing i haven't seen before, i climbed the ship using my nails to hook myself in the wood and my tail to keep my balance and swing myself up

But as i reached the top, i saw that all the humans were unconscious like they should be, though i continued to sing to make sure none woke up for now but then all of a sudden i heard a noise, a creak, a footsteps, i turned to see the person who was behind the wheel of the ship. "Was there a human who could resist my song?" I was surprised, i watched the human taking their step towards me, i started to sing louder to get a hold of the situation, my eyes taking their appearance, then it clicked "Their chest isn't flat like the other humans, is this one another type of humans? Maybe a woman like we have among Sirens" i thought to myself

I panicked as she stepped closer and pushed myself back, i could see that she held a weapon in her hand

You... What type of human are you?...

I asked her as she cornered me, but curious got me before fear could and insted of jumping off the ship i moved closer to her, my hand moved towards her to check if she was real or i was hallucinating because of hunger, i must have looked so stupid cause i should be prepared to attack her with my nails but here we are
