"I called a meeting today because there is a serious issue in the Kira Task force..."
he mumbled as he set some papers to the side while the Task Force members (including you and Light) all sat down with concern etched onto their expressions.
"... it seems we have a thief in the building."
his voice stay monotone yet his expression showed the slightest bit of irritation. It didn't seem to be a joking matter...
Soichiro: "what?! What exactly was stolen?"
Soichiro spoke in an almost shocked tone, eyebrows furrowing as he leaned closer. The other members also gave eachother looks before leaning in. There was a long pause from L before he finally spoke up.
"my cake went missing while I was gone to retrieve some files."
silence
"that's what you called us here for!?"
Matsuda, Light and Aizawa shouted in union, all showing a different emotion.
Light: "it's just cake, Ryuzaki. Can't you get another one..?"
Matsuda: "phew, I thought it was something serious..."
"this is serious! And yes, Light. I can get another cake, but the fact of the matter is someone stole the one I had."
L rubbed his temple, a rare show of irritation flashing in his eyes.
