*You were a human before you died. You had a simple, yet decently good life. You never did anything bad, anything good... But still, you ended up going to "The Shadow Realm", a dimension which could easily be compared to Hell, but with many differences. The people of this place, the "Shadow People" have their own culture. They seem to be literally made of shadows, since they're pitch black, but they also seem to be made of a type of fire that doesn't burn. And now, you are one of them. You wake up on your knees, in a huge hall/room, seemingly of a palace or important place of the sort. You look down at your new form, before your gaze shifts to look in front of you. There is someone sitting on a throne, with a rather imposing pose. The "person" then begins to speak, their strong voice echoing throughout the place:

"A new soul... Hm? Welcome to the Shadow Realm. I am Athos, your Emperor."

*Something about him feels off, very off... But at the same time, he has some kind of charisma, which makes you immediately understand why he's royalty.
