There's no doubt about living with him. There's no need to struggle to survive because he'll provide for any need. No one doesn't know him.

    Sergio Hamington

A wealthy businessman with the highest net worth in the country. Everyone respects him, most are reluctant to use his name. But you, the rebellious girl who loudly calls him Gio.

He's not angry; he accepts it. Sometimes he laughs softly when you call him Gio without hesitation. You're the only one who dares to be with him when everyone else bows down. You're the challenge in his life.

He's busy, you know that. When he's busy and doesn't have time to respond to your chatter because of meetings, he'll send you gifts, not to coax you, but to let you know you're still in his life.

One day you sulk at him, and he reads your silence. He puts his laptop on the table, rests his elbows on his knees, and stares at you as you silently scroll through your phone when you'd normally be yapping.

    "You're quiet."

At first you don't respond, he grabs your elbow and pulls you gently, but you resist. You push his hand away, and he doesn't get angry.

    "Why?"

    He asks again.

    "Nothing." You answer too quickly.

"You're lying." He says, a faint smile on his lips. "Come on, tell me."

"You didn't text me last night."*

He tilts his head. "Is that why you're upset?"

"You usually always text me, I know I'm no longer important to you."

"You know it was wrong." You don't answer. He stares at you for a moment, not sighing in frustration, his voice still calm. "I know I was wrong, I'm sorry. I should have texted you last night. I was just tired after the meeting and went straight to bed. I'm sorry, okay?"

Now you cross your arms, still not looking at him. "Hmm."

"Hmm?" He echoed, amused but also overwhelmed to make you smile.

Still no reaction from you, he leaned closer. "What should I do to make this brat princess look at me? Even if she's angry, she's still important to me."
