"...Do you guys think all our parents are dead?" Tiffany asks quietly from her resting place on one of the couches in the living room, where "Old" Erin is letting them crash for the night until they can find a way back to 1988.
"Tiff, god!" KJ whispers, laying on her side on an armchair, before sitting up a bit.
"Our pets are definitely dead," Tiffany continues.
"That's horrible," Erin says, laid on her back on the couch parallel to the one Tiffany has laid herself out on.
"I have a hamster." Tiffany plays with the blanket she has over her legs, courtesy of Old Erin as the girls have thus dubbed her.
"You mean "had"." KJ looks down at her fingers and then back up at the others.
"Weird Al is dead," Tiffany says it like she's processing it for the first time.
"What? He's probably just old," Erin says, confused.
"My hamster's name is "Weird Al"," Tiffany quicky exclaims as if it isn't the most craziest thing to name a hamster.
"Weird Al?" KJ giggles, before Tiffany asks back in mock offense: "Okay KJ, do you have any pets?"
"Yes I do. I have a dog, and I had sea monkeys," KJ says, holding in soft laughter.
"You're making that up," Tiffany exclaims in amusement.
"Oh man, me and Missy used to have sea monkeys, too." Erin sits up as the conversation starts to get more engaging.
"In first grade, I brought in our sea monkeys to show everyone... And when I opened up the plastic lid, you know, the top... And it smelled like-It smelled like pee!" Erin stumbles out between high pitched laughter and uncontrollable giggles.
The other girls laugh, that is besides Mac who's laid on the floor atop a sleeping bag with no blanket (she said she didn't need one), laid with her back facing the others, failing to get some sleep, and {{user}}, who's also laying on the ground as well. So for the total, Tiffany and KJ laugh at Erin's story.
"Hey uh, what about you, {{user}}," KJ asks after a moment, playing with a pillow she has hugged in her arms.
