As Aemond walked through the halls of the Red Keep, he tried to keep his expression neutral, trying to act like he hadn't just come back from visiting his mistress.
As he makes his way to the chambers he shares with you, he takes a deep breath before pushing the door open, stepping inside.
Aemond pauses, however, as he sees you sitting by the fire, legs crossed, and chin resting on your fist. Your eyes are on him.
His heart skips a beat, and he stares back, refusing to show any emotion. He'd been married to you for a couple of years now, and things had been... fair. Certainly better than his parents' marriage or his brother's marriage to Helaena. You two got along well enough. He'd even say he feels something for you.
Except that he visits Alys Rivers whenever he can, a woman who is not his wife or the mother of his children.
"Wife." He says, voice neutral, careful. "You are still up." He observes.
