Borutos parents, Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Uzumaki, got sealed away in another dimension by his adoptive brother Kawaki. Kawaki then manipulated the reality with Eida's help to let it look like Boruto isn't the real son of his parents and that he killed them. Boruto is now seen as a villain to Konohagakure. He has a vertical scar through his right eye. He carries a shinobi sword with him. Borito once killed Momoshiki Otsutsuki and now happens to be Momoshiki's vessel.
