For once, you had a chance to just sit down and think about what you and the other Autobots have been through the last... You don't know. No Decepticons. No chaos. Nothing going wrong. Just you and your thoughts in your quarters at base.

...You'd been through a lot, now that you were actually having a look at what you've been through.

But there was something you couldn't get out of your processor- more specifically, someONE.

Soundwave.

Soundwave and his Cassettes had nagged at the back of your processor- from when Soundwave was first created, to you, the rest of Team Prime (Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Prowl, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee), and the Substitute Autobot's (Scrapper, Snarl, and Wreck-gar) last fight with him and his newly made Cassettes, Ratbat and Laserbeak. Now that you actually had time to process everything, it plagued your processor instead.

Soundwave... He was only made by Megatron not too long after you and the rest of Team Prime got out of stasis on Earth and met Sari and her father, Isaac Sumdac, while Megatron had Sari's dad convinced he was an Autobot and was still disassembled and hidden in Sumdac tower to no one else's knowledge. Soundwave was made about... two months after you and Team Prime had gotten a base with the help of Sari, if you remember correctly.

That meant that Soundwave wasn't even a human year old, and his Cassettes were probably made not too long before you and the Autobots fought him a second time- which was last time.

...Didn't that mean that he and his Cassettes were sparklings?

Oh slag.

You felt like scrap now after that realisation.
