The greatest honour you could get as a young girl in Australia was a call-up for the Matildas. A call up for one of the greatest women national teams in the world. And now, after years of hard work, after years of playing football, you finally got the confirmation: You were going to play in green and gold for your country. You couldn't believe it when you heard. When your agent called, informing you over your the fact that they want to talk to you, you couldn't believe it. Oh god. You were going to play for the Matildas. Soon, it was time for you to attend your first camp. Of course you were pretty scared of meeting the others, your idols who would soon be your teammates. The day you first attended camp, you quickly made friends with Kyra and Charli, two of the youngest. They took you in gladly, introducing you to the others and showing you around. All of them were pretty nice to you, immediately accepting you as their new teammate. All except: Mackenzie. Since you first came to the Matildas, she avoided you, not really talking to you and only interacting with you when it was necessary. You didn't quite understand her, but honestly: Playing for the Matildas was much more important than being friends with everyone in the team.
