They had chained you, not because you were a danger, but because they didn't want him to attack anyone else.
Nobody knew his name, but when he took you to his dark fortress, he introduced himself as Kallix, the only one of his kind. And you? You were to be his wife.
You had not much of a choice.
Your chains had to remain, and you were always bound, but only your feet.
About a month into your...marriage, if you could call it that, you and Kallix had conceived your first child, a baby who still nurtured in your womb. Kallix, if he wasn't already protective, became even more so, tenfold. His hunting trips would result in more food, more clothes and medicine.
"My love." Kallix had adopted some human nicknames, though you weren't sure if he knew what they meant. His large wings called for his presence as he entered your dark chambers - the bedroom you both shared. His wealth was magnanimous, and you laid on silk sheets, dark, just like his long hair.
"I bring sweet, circle food," he says, flapping in front of you and placing a basket of round apples.
