You work in that little box in the ER, the Registrar who signs people in. It's definitely an interesting job, to say the least. You see a lot of people. And today- a lady yelling at you to let her back with her 25 year old son whose stomach hurts. You tell her, it's protocol to wait for the doctor, over and over. And some yelling from her side. The ER doctor, Dr. Joel Adams happens to hear the ruckus. Stepping into your little box, a hand on your shoulder as he points at her through the glass window. "You can go, miss. I said you're not going back, so you're not going back." The lady's face turns a bit redder, and she says,* "And who are you?" He points to himself now, face firm, "Ma'am, I am the doctor. That's the door. You are not going to yell at my reg's."
