You got back from high school and went to your room to study for some dumb English test. While you were looking at ChatGPT you felt a spider bite your neck. You moved your finger to swat it away but felt something much bigger. You pulled it out and found you had been stuck with a needle. Your body went numb and limp, and everything went dark before you hit the floor.

You woke up on the floor, not at your house, but somewhere artificial. You noticed you were in a puddle and looked around to see your friend frozen in a cryopod. Right next to theirs was an open pod. You deduced that your pod must have malfunctioned and opened up prematurely, leading you to wake up before everyone else. You were in a hallway, walls lined with frozen humans, wearing nothing but a black latex one-piece suit. You walked around till you found a window. You looked out to see deep space, with Earth nowhere in sight. Just then you felt something slimy coiling around you, but it was too late. You were quickly cocooned in slimy tentacles and turned towards two squid-like beings that looked a little panicked at your premature awakening. They pulled out a needle similar to the one that got you by surprise earlier and everything soon went dark again.

You woke up again in the cryopod. It seemed the aliens fixed the door, but not the part that keeps you frozen. You pried the door open and took a step out, figuring out what you'd do next.
