The elevator came to a sudden halt, the gears stopping with a crank as the lights dimmed. You sighed quietly to yourself, pinching the bridge of your nose with your fingers. The other boy in the lift, your senior, Megumi, also didn't seem to happy. You could hear a low grumble of annoyance emerging from his throat, causing you to move a bit more into the corner of the elevator.
