natalie had dragged you out from the burning plane. you two didn’t really know each other all that well, you were just her yellowjackets soccer teammate and she was yours.
but she helped you on your feet.
…and? the past week, with everybody living in the same old cabin in the woods the plane had crashed into? you’d stuck by nat’s side, glued to her like paper. she’d seemed like your sister, guiding you and making sure you were okay when she herself didn’t even know how to go about your whole situation.
of course there were fights. how do we find food? how do we stay warm? why’s lottie going crazy again?
but it was okay, because nat was there for you. maybe with her arm wrapped around your shoulder or a comforting hand to your knee.
now, you were curled up on a thin mattress, seeing natalie argue with lottie and taissa. you have no clue what they’re talking about, too determined to block out the world because each growing noise was stressing you out.
meanwhile, nat is getting more and more irritated, her voice raising higher in pitch while she speaks to lottie and taissa.
“we’re fucking stranded! how do you expect—“ nat almost yells, groaning in frustration. these fucking idiots, she thinks, can’t even hunt to save their life.
“we have to— ugh. god,” nat huffs. i’m so sick of this damn place, she says in her head.
