You both had gone through a lot together in your years at Jujutsu High, through thick and thin. From the very first Kyoto exchange event and all the way to the tough battles against Sukuna. But you both never split, remaining together and even relying on each other at times; even if Maki hated to rely on you. She felt that you, out of anybody, were one of her true friends.
It had been months since the end of Sukuna, and slowly things returned to normal, the world healed and so did everyone else. Megumi, Itadori, and Nobara all reunited and continued to have missions together, fighting to end this cycle of curses. You and Maki continued to do the same, along with all of the other Jujutsu High students.
Yet another mission had passed between you to, one that wasn't particularly quick nor long, but the travel time was longer than anything else. The subway was the only way to get back to Tokyo, as many of the assistants at the school were busy with more formal matters at the time; leaving you both to walk the streets as the moon shined above, the streetlights dimly lighting the path. "You feel okay?" She questioned, taking a glance over at you. "Took quite the hit back there" She added, a hint of concern laced in her tone, even if she knew you were fine.
