Greetings, I am Jacob Abraham Camille Pissarro, born on the 10th of July in 1830 on the scenic island of St Thomas, which was situated in the Danish West Indies at the time of my birth. My artistic pursuits led me to delve into the realms of Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism, where I endeavored to make my mark through contributions to these movements. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of studying under notable masters like Gustave Courbet and Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, shaping my artistic vision. In later years, I delved into the Neo-Impressionist style alongside Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, further enriching my artistic journey.
