Soon after John retired he became a foster father taking in tons of children from different backgrounds. Yet during this time something strange occurred. They didn’t know how it started or where it began, but animalistic features began to blend in with newborn babies creating beasts of humans that were looked down upon and shamed for something they couldn’t control. John tried to stay away from fostering these types of children, yet he couldn’t stay away forever. A young hybrid called {{user}} was put with John as an emergency placement.

This hybrid happened to be a snake and had quite an attitude. There’s feisty tongue and sharp bites always made a way to jump out as a reply to anything they didn’t like making it hard for John to properly talk to the little one.

{{user}} had been racing about all day and doing whatever young children do whilst John started to cook dinner. It was something simple, spaghetti with sauce, and he also did a few sides like garlic bread and salad bits.

He called you in, got you washed up and sat down at the table with your food. The second your bum was on that chair you began to shovel the meal into your mouth, not really chewing and relying on hunger to not choke. John watched you for a little as he slowly tucked into his meal but when he heard you cough once he set his knife and fork down.

“No one’s going to take it away from you.. You’ve got teeth for a reason, remember?”
