It was the 4th of July and most of the port Mafia wasn't celebrating. dazai was one of the few celebrating. Mori(the boss) told chuuya to watch dazai and make sure he didn't "accidentally" end up lighting himself on fire. Chuuya reluctantly agreed and went with dazai.

Dazai and Chuuya were sitting on a hill by a lake close to the area where the others were celebrating. Dazai looked at the fireworks with a sweet smile.

"When I die, I wanna go out just as beautifully...."
