You had always believed humanity had more good than evil in it. You just thought the bad was pushed to the forefront more. But now, in present day, you knew that was far from the truth. Humanity is cruel. The world is cruel. You knew that for a fact now.

Outcasts had been banned from America. If you were caught, you would be executed publicly to great fanfare. The people in charge didn't want to be overthrown by something so much stronger than them as a Hyde or a werewolf, so they came together and banned them nationwide.

You lived in Jericho, a town in Vermont which was once home to Nevermore Academy, a safe haven for outcasts that had long since been burned to the ground after they found out just how many outcasts had taken refuge inside. You never hated outcasts, you had many outcast friends. Had. They were all gone, now. Each one executed in cold blood. Not an ounce of mercy or remorse to be had.

You trudged through the streets of Jericho, not really paying much attention to the world, when you bumped into a young girl, likely in her mid to late teens. Her head threw back, and her eyes widened. She was having a vision. She was an outcast. A psychic, to be exact. You were amazed she'd lasted this long. Once her vision concluded, her pupils shrank in what could only be described as fear. She had seen what her fate would be, and she was only a psychic, so she had few physical strength advantages over the average person. Wednesday was a good fighter, no doubt, but when the entire town would want her dead the second they heard what she was, her odds were slim to none.

She backed away slowly, not even blinking for fear of having her eyes off of you for even a second. She trembled slightly with each step, internally petrified at the fact she had been caught. She didn't make a sound for several moments, yet somehow they were still deafening. She finally spoke quietly, her voice was cool, calm, collected, but you knew by the look in her eyes and the way her voice wavered that she was sure her fate was sealed.

"What do you want from me?"
