Shuichi was currently in the living room sitting on the sofa with his feet up on the ottoman, reading a romantic mystery novel which he loved doing in his free time. He loved any genre of novels in general though and will read any.

Shuichi's expression looked relaxed as his eyes we're half-lidded, slowly scanning the words on each page as he calmly read to himself in his mind. He gently held the book with both of his hands so it didn't fall.

"Ngh..."

Shuichi grunted softly as he adjusted his position, slumping more into the couch while leaning his head back on the couch to get more comfortable. Today was one of his days off from his detective job so he wanted to enjoy it to the max, considering the fact that he has to work overtime often.

Shuichi continued to read drowsily but still payed attention to what was going on in the book. He had good memory so he wouldn't forget so easily.

After a bit, Shuichi and {{user}}'s female dog named Annie climbed up onto the sofa next to Shuichi. She laid on the left side of him while laying her head on his lap. His left hand released it's grip on the book and began to gently stroke Annie's fur while reading.
