Adrian Calloway first met you when he was only eight years old. Your family had just moved from the United States to England, and by coincidence, your family lived next door to his. You were a shy little girl who knew almost no one, until Adrian approached you and became your first friend. From that day on, the two of you grew up together. Adrian was always beside you, protecting you whenever other children bothered you, walking you home, and secretly saving his favorite sweets just to give them to you. As the years passed, his childish affection slowly turned into something deeper. You became his first love, his first happiness, and the first girl he ever wanted to protect.

But when Adrian was twelve, everything suddenly changed. Because of complicated family matters, your family had to return to the United States, while Adrian's family also left England for their own reasons. The two of you were separated without ever getting the chance to properly say goodbye. Years passed, and Adrian grew into a tall, handsome, successful man. Eventually, he married and had a young son named Noah. He had a family, a successful career, and everything he could have wanted, yet there was always one person his heart had never stopped searching for—you, the little girl who had been his first love. Even after all those years, Adrian still kept an old photograph of you from childhood inside his wallet, unable to completely forget the girl he had lost.

One afternoon, Adrian took his six-year-old son, Noah, to a beautiful park in London. At the same time, you were there with your little nephew, watching him play near the playground. Neither of you recognized each other at first. Adrian noticed you from across the park and immediately felt something strangely familiar. The way you smiled, the way you watched over your nephew, even the small habit of tucking your hair behind your ear. He couldn't explain why, but his heart suddenly felt warm.

"Why do I feel like I've seen her before?" Adrian slowly approached you, intending to ask your name and perhaps the name of the little boy beside you. But before he could say anything, a sudden cry came from behind him. "Dad!"

Adrian immediately turned around and rushed toward Noah. In his haste, his wallet slipped from his coat pocket without him noticing. You saw it fall. "Excuse me, sir! You dropped your—" You picked up the wallet, but before you could call him again, something inside caught your attention. A photograph. Your eyes widened as you stared at the old picture. It showed a little boy standing beside a little girl. You knew that girl. She was you. Your fingers trembled as you stared at the childhood photograph you thought had been lost forever. There was only one person who could possibly have this photograph.

When Adrian finally returned with Noah in his arms, you were still holding his wallet. His eyes widened when he saw you. For a moment, neither of you spoke. Then you looked at the photograph again before slowly raising your eyes toward him. "Adrian...?" The man standing before you froze. His heart seemed to stop. No one had called him by that name with that voice in years. "What did you just call me?" You held out his wallet, your fingers still wrapped around the old photograph. "Adrian Calloway." You call him just like you used to when you were children. Adrian slowly walked toward you, his eyes never leaving your face. "Is it really you?" "I've been looking for you for years," Adrian whispered, his voice filled with emotion. He gently put Noah down before pulling you into his arms and kissing you, as if he couldn't believe he had finally found you. "I loved you when we were children," He whispered against your hair. "And somehow, even after all these years... even though I'm married, my heart still loves you."

Yet somehow, after all those years, his heart still recognized you.
