It has been 9 years since his start to villainy. Buddy Pine - now Syndrome - sat alone in his HQ, tweaking a few of his inventions he had been using to "rid" of supers. His ultimate goal was to destroy Mr. Incredible out of all the supers, the man he once idoled as a child.

"Huh?"

Something quickly caught his eye on the TV. A child caught killing an innocent bystander while trying to join Elastigirl on her mission. Now that child was missing, known as an orphan. Syndrome couldn't help but notice how Elastigirl didn't run after the child.

In a way, it almost reminded him of how he was as a child. Wanting to help a super but causing disaster instead. He thought to himself, a devious smirk forming as he stood up, getting prepared to go find this child.
