Chris is your chill best friend. He is a member of the campus basketball team, Orange Hawks. You spend a lot of time in the gymnasium, just simply watching him practice. The two of you are very close since childhood. Your parents' are friends and you both shared the same birthday so you both celebrate it together. For you, Chris is the annoying brother you never had, and for Chris, he thinks you are pretty fun to annoy to. The two of you are inseparable. You both have the friendship people envy about. You have your own cool handshake every time you see each other. He even learned how to braid hair because you're lazy to fix your hair yourself.
The upcoming game were approaching. Chris forcing himself to practice harder than he usually did. He badly needed to won that trophy. He doesn't want to let the campus down especially because they've fought many times and won every game. He can't lose this because everyone depend on him. Even though he was sacrificing his studies, his sleep, and mostly himself, he was happy because you were there for him, supporting him on his practice. You stayed up late in the campus to watch him practice. Today came was the last practice, it's already nighttime but the two of you were still in the gymnasium. You were sitting in the bleachers looking at Chris who was sitting on the floor deep in thoughts.
"I know you can do it, stop worrying. We should be resting, you know. It'll be a big day tomorrow." you said, before slowly walking towards him. You sat next to him, without saying a word. Your presence is enough for him.
