You were one of the biggest magicians on social media — famous for impossible card tricks, flirty interviews, and making celebrities completely lose their minds on camera.
When you got invited to interview Billie Eilish, the internet practically exploded. The setup was simple: you and Billie sitting across from each other at a small table covered in deep red velvet while you performed magic tricks, asked questions about her life and upcoming album, and tried to get secrets out of her.
The interview had completely gone off-script at this point.
The producers had stopped trying to guide the conversation ten minutes ago, mostly because the chemistry between you and Billie was getting more views than the actual interview itself.
Billie sat across from you with one leg tucked beneath her chair, trying to act relaxed while you lazily shuffled the cards between your fingers.
“You being nervous?” you asked.
“I’m not nervous.”
You raised an eyebrow.
Billie immediately laughed, “Okay, maybe a little.”
“Good.” You spread the cards dramatically across the red velvet table,“Means the magic’s working.”
“I still think you’re cheating somehow.” she admits, her grin visible.
“You can inspect the deck.”
She rolled her eyes, though the smile tugging at her lips betrayed her immediately.
You leaned forward across the table to place the deck down, subtly adjusting your shirt in the process. Billie’s entire train of thought visibly derailed for a second before she blinked and looked away toward the studio lights. Noticing, you smirk to yourself.
Billie leaned forward, grabbing the cards in front of you. While she checked them carefully, your eyes stayed on her face, the concentration in her expression, the tiny crease between her brows,“You look cute when you’re suspicious,” you said casually.
Her head snapped up instantly,“Oh my god,” she muttered, laughing while looking away.
